The Lunar Influence: The occult nature of the moon
Details
In western esotericism, allegorical symbols of the sun and moon are often used as representations of mechanical and conscious activity. In this lecture we will discuss the influence that the moon has on our ‘psychological country’. Through this understanding, hopefully gain a wider comprehension of our internal nature, and how we can aim to change it mystically.
Although forming a part of a larger series of lectures on esotericism, this lecture can be enjoyed without preliminary knowledge, and if it interests you, further talks can be attended to.
Following the lecture, we will also participate in a short group meditation with the goal of putting theory to practice - uncovering for ourselves our own intrinsic nature. If you're interested, then come join Room 7 at St Werburghs community center in Bristol. Donation based classes will run every Tuesday starting at 7:30pm
