What we’re about
This is a a group for people who live and work In Westchester and Connecticut and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. TThe point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are :Museums, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.

🌟 Ever curious about how our fresh take on speed dating compares to the classic version? Let's dive in and see what's cooking!
👫 One-on-One Dates: Just like the traditional scene, we pair you up for cozy little chats. Picture this: you, them, and a whirlwind convo lasting about 4-6 minutes. When time’s up, the guys do a little shuffle to the next captivating conversation. It’s like musical chairs but with better prospects of finding someone who gets your heart skipping a beat!
💌 Who Caught Your Eye? Post-fluttery feelings, it’s your turn to play Cupid. Tell us your crushes, and we'll whip up a list of mutual sparks (both feeling the vibe) and admirers (they’re into you, maybe it’s time for a second look?). And because we’re all about instant gratification, you’ll get these juicy details super fast – think “while you’re still buzzing from the night” fast or at the latest, with your morning coffee.
⏱ No Waiting Around: You’ve got 20 minutes post-event to send in your love notes (aka your interest list). We’re talking lightning-speed results here, folks. No nail-biting or clock-watching required!
👀 How Many Fish in the Sea? Expect to meet anywhere from 5 to a flirty 15 potential matches. And hey, if the stars don’t align and we end up with a smaller crew, you’re all set for a free ticket to our next virtual love fest.
🖥 Zooming Into Love: Snagged your ticket? Awesome! You’ll get a confirmation faster than you can say “match made in heaven,” complete with the magic Zoom link to where all the action happens.

- EBC! Everest Base Camp Trek< A bucket list adventure. Incl helicopter ride down>JFK International Airport, NYC, NY
Most everything we need is in CT, . . . some things are not.
And for those we need to take a journey.
This event embodies adventure and the romance of traveling to far off places . . with new friends.
It is also tempered with safety and do-ability.
The actual dates are Apr 25-May 11, 2025 and the trip is 17 days/16 nights.
CLICK HERE to see attendee photos of the EBC trekWE HAVE MADE CHANGES BASED UPON EXPERIENCE.
- We are ADDING Yoga and Meditation, and a local expert TO BE WITH US to guide in Buddhist practice and local culture.
- We are ADDING two days while going up to better acclimatize.
- We are ADDING a HELLICOPTER FLIGHT from our highest camp back to start point AND REMOVING two days going down by taking the flight.
To clarify. We are NOT going up to the top of Everest (29,000’)
We are going to Everest Base Camp at 17,600’
Our starting elevation will be in Lukla at 9,400’You need to be of average or better fitness. If you can manage walking 3-6 hours a day, up and down a hill while carrying a light daypack, you will be OK! If you are very fit and work out and train, you will be at the front.
Professional guides to lead, and Yaks to carry our gear are included. And a Yak Herder too!!
All that is left for us to carry is our water, snacks and camera.
But I don't have the needed gear?!
Sleeping bag and parka, rated to -10C are provided and walking poles too!Does this include food?
All meals on the trek potion are included. What is lodging like?
We are sleeping in a series of "Tea Houses" along the route. You will have a bed in a shared room with roommate (from the group). Sorry, a solo room will not be available on this trip. We will pair up everybody. How dangerous is this? What if I get sick or hurt?
This is NOT the summiting Everest with people dying from bad choices. We will be walking on an established, well used trail the entire time, and NOT on snow or ice. Stats from past years show that 30,000 people a year do the EBC Trek. With all that said, . . . our trip INCLUDES emergency insurance. We are also Certified Wilderness First Responders.
Plain and simple, safety is our primary goal. We will have an experienced guide and porters, and we will be along the entire way.How much does this cost?
