Dinner & Film Discussion
Details
These film events are for discussion of a film from the world at large. This means that most of the films we watch will be "foreign", or in some other sense off the beaten path. All attendees should watch the film on their own sometime beforehand.
==========
For this event let's meet at Moonlight Grill at 6:30 pm.

Dìdi (Chinese: 'Younger Brother') is a 2024 American coming-of-age comedy/drama film, written, directed, and produced by Sean Wang in his directorial debut. Semi-autobiographical, one reviewer called it "easily one of the best, most seamless films [she’s] seen on the experience of growing up online”. The film portrays Chris, a Taiwanese-American eighth grader in 2008. It had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award.
The film can be streamed from Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, Peacock, and possibly elsewhere.
