Florida Scrub-Jays at Lyonia Preserve

Become familiar with our Florida scrub and get up close and personal with our very special Florida Scrub-Jays, for which this preserve was created in the heart of Deltona. Please arrive by 8:45 AM, as our walk begins at 9:00 AM. As always, dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable footwear for walking on sand. After our walk, please enter the Environmental Center and learn from the many displays, some of which are interactive. No more than 1.5 to 2 hours is expected for this event.
