We will circumnavigate both the adjacent reservoirs Swinsty and Fewston. This is an easy walk of 7 miles nearly all on well made paths. Total ascent approx 100m. Finish time is approx. The Sun Inn at Norwood is the likely venue for after-walk refreshment.

Please note that I will likely leave the walk half-way round (due to injury), and meet up with the rest of the group at the finish. However, the route is very straight-forward and I expect others to join the walk who know the route very well.

Park at Yorkshire Water Swinsty Moor car park AKA Fewston and Swinsty Reservoir Car Park (charged at £3 for 6 hours, please check that your ticket shows correct registration number before setting off on the walk). This is the car park nearest the village of Timble, it has WC's but IMPORTANT please note that the toilet block is temporarily out of use and has portaloos in place instead.

Meet: In Swinsty Moor car park AKA Fewston and Swinsty Reservoir Car Park (note portaloos in use here as toilet block is out of action).

Please wear appropriate clothing and walking boots for the walk, and bring along wet weather gear and extra clothing for warmth on the windy hilltops.

Bring enough food and drink to keep you going; we'll make a stop for lunch.

No dogs on this walk due to concerns relating to livestock and trip hazard.

A donation of £1.00 is required towards Meetup subscription and any excess to Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue.
