In the past we have done this walk in Autumn but I thought we'd see what wildflowers there are.

This walk will begin at the the intersection of Mount Macedon & Douglas Rds, Mount Macedon where we will follow a variety of trails in a circuit through varied terrain. There is no toilet at the start but there are some throughout the walk at picnic areas. Please bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water. There will be time for photographs along the walk if you wish.

This is a slightly longer walk than usual with a total distance of approximately 18km and the walk includes some hills and steps. The track is a medium grade. Tracks consist of dirt roads, rocks, gravel and some residential streets to return to cars. Some bushwalking skills and moderate fitness is recommended and sturdy, grippy footwear is a MUST for this walk! Walking poles could be advantageous.

Please note that the end time is just an approximate.

This area is prone to sudden changes in temperature and weather conditions so PLEASE be prepared.
