**Cape to Cape WA**
In deciding whether this trip is for you, you need to take into consideration you will be walking 130.5kms for 7 days, up to 21kms per day with varying levels of difficulties.
**Only those who have walked with the group before/recently will be considered for this trip and you will be expected to have a good level of fitness at the time we start hiking.**
The Cape to Cape Walk runs along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, eternally the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in the far south west of Western Australia. It features spectacular coastal and forest scenery, cliffs, caves, headlands and rock formations.
Day 1 Cape Naturaliste to Yallingup 14km
Day 2 Yallingup to Moses Rock 19km
Day 3 Moses Rock to Gracetown 18km
Day 4 Gracetown to Prevelly 18km
Day 5 Prevelly to Contos 19km
Day 6 Contos to Hamelin Bay 21km
Day 7 Hamelin Bay to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse 21.5km

**Cost**
Transfer fee and campsites for the 7 days, $600 per person (plus your transport to WA). This includes transfer to the trailhead where necessary, tent and personal items moved along the trail and left at each campsite. You only need to carry a day pack whilst hiking. **Please note once you are confirmed as going and your deposit has been paid, it is not refundable.** A refund would only be available if a replacement hiker could be found.

**Accommodation**
Accommodation is an **unpowered campsite**. You will need to bring your own small hiking tent, sleeping bag and mattress. We will be staying in Caravan Parks along the trail and will have access to camp kitchens. Please note, caravan parks in Margaret River require a minimum of 2 nights for cabins and therefore it is not practical to stay in a cabin. On the day you may be able to upgrade to a cabin if there is availability and you will be responsible for the additional costs.
It is recommended that we all stay at the Yallingup -Tasman Holiday Park on the night of 2nd May 2025 (night before we start walking). We will also stay here on the night of the 3rd May. The transfer company in WA can book this for us.
At the end of the hike on 9th May 2025 the cost includes a transfer to Augusta. I will be looking to stay overnight in Augusta.

**How to Get to the start**
Travelling to and from Busselton, WA
Jetstar has flights from Victoria to Busselton. From Busselton there are public buses which run to the Cape.
In the event of high fire danger or other prevailing weather conditions the hike would not proceed.
