2024 Chrismahanukwanzakah Party

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Boxing Day, Bodhi Day, or anything else, come join us to celebrate it with good food, good friends and margaritas! I know there's a whole lot of blah, blah words for this event, but please read thru to the end.

COST
It looks like we have plenty of interest (YAY!) so let's go ahead and get you RSVPed and paid to hold your spot. The cost is $27 per person and will cover your food and non alcoholic beverages. All alcohol will have to be purchased individually. Since the venue deposit has already been made, I'm asking that you Venmo me no later than November 30th to hold your spot. {Venmo = @SaraD907 or for Paypal, click HERE} Of course, refunds will be given if the event is canceled.

This event will be open to plus ones if there are spaces available Dec 1st.

WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE
Included in the fun will be a White Elephant gift exchange (this is not optional, so please be willing to participate). If you're not familiar, a white elephant gift exchange is where each person must bring one wrapped present to the party. After drawing numbers, the person with number "one" chooses a present to unwrap. The person with number "two" has a choice: They may choose a new, wrapped present, or they may take the unwrapped present from the first person. If they take the present from the first person, that person chooses another present to unwrap. The person with the number "three" may choose any previously unwrapped present or a new, wrapped one. The game continues until all presents have been unwrapped and everyone has a gift. A gift may only be "stolen" three times before it's considered out of play. Please pick gifts that are quirky and fun but not gifts that no one will want (ex scented candles 😣).

FOOD BANK FOOD DRIVE
I reached out to The Food Bank of Alaska and they told me that they were very low on canned vegetables & meats this year. Please help out by bringing a canned food donation to the party. I will collect them and deliver them the following week. Winter is a hard time for the food banks, especially with the kids not able to get meals at school.
