Our last 'What's About' for 2024 will be held in Maidenhead Thicket on December 7th, so may we invite you to come along.
Winter visitors such as Fieldfares and Redwings will hopefully be accompanying our resident birds, seeking out what morsels they can find. So do bring your bird apps so we can try them out (and if you don't have one, an ideal addition to your Christmas list!) The woodland floor will be busy consuming the leaf litter, aided by all sorts of creepy crawlies to be discovered.
We will meet at the Shire Horse Pub car park on the A4 opposite the Thicket (SU8500803), to where we will be returning after the walk for warm drinks/snacks etc as a 'thank you' for use of their facilities.
