CAMBRIDGE: Wildish walk and campfire in Matchstick Woods
Details
Join us for a relaxing and mindful afternoon at the private woodland, Matchstick Woods, nestled next to the River Great Ouse.
We will begin with a peaceful walk through the woods, exploring the natural beauty of the area and identifying the large range of trees. Afterwards, we’ll gather around a crackling campfire to unwind. Enjoy the warmth and tranquillity as we make tea and coffee using campfire kitchen equipment and toast marshmallows over the flames.
We'll also engage in mindful activities like sit spots to help connect with nature, and maybe even a bushcraft activity such as making cordage. It's a perfect opportunity to slow down and appreciate the surroundings.
Matchstick Woods is located within a stunning 500-acre estate offering beautiful riverside walks. Just a 10-minute walk away is the Danish Camp, a riverside log cabin restaurant where we’ll have an optional stop for food at the end.
