Braywick Nature Centre pond clearing
Details
Join Windsor & Maidenhead Conservation Volunteers in our annual task to tidy-up of the pond at Braywick Nature Centre. This pond, in the Dell about 100 yards from the Nature Centre car park, is much used by local youngsters for pond dipping.
We'll be removing excess weeds from the pond itself and cutting back vegetation from around the edge.
Tools and gloves provided although you may want to bring your own gloves. There will be waders available for anyone who fancies a paddle, although there will be plenty to do if you prefer to stay on dry land.
Park in the Nature Centre car park off Hibbert Road. To find the pond take the path past the Nature Centre building which goes steeply downhill to the left of Braywick Court School.
There will be a tea break at about 11.30 - tea coffee and biscuits provided.
Adults only please. No dogs.
