Carter Grove Country Road is an abandoned road that was last maintained around 2000. It makes for a very pleasant walk near Kingsmill and Busch Gardens. Paved path with plenty of shade.

This hike is scheduled for every other Tuesday. See Greensprings Hike on opposite Tuesdays.

Location details: The trail head is located across Route 199 from Harris Teeter near Kings Mill. From 199, turn south on Mounts Bay Rd, turn right into the JCC Government Center. Take the first right and go to the very back of the complex.

Walk starts promptly at 5. Call/text me at 757-903-5075 if you need directions.
