King Ranch Tour--May 2-4,2025

I have arranged a King Ranch Tour for next spring--May 2-4. The trip will begin at the Holiday Inn in Kingsville at noon on the 2nd and we will do some birding in the Kingsville area that afternoon with dinner at the famous Kings Inn. On Saturday morning we will take our all day tour to the Norrias Division near Raymondville, Texas, lunch is provided. We are hoping for the prize bird there--Ferruginous Pygmy Owl as well as other unusual species--Tropical Parula, Botteri's Sparrow, Altamira & Audubon's Oriole, and more. The cost per person is $450 double occupancy and a single supplement is an additional $150. This covers hotel for two nights, King Ranch Tour, & guide. In addition, we will travel to the Corpus Area for additional birding on Sunday and look for migrants until noon. To secure your spot please send a $225 deposit to our Treasurer, Scott Johnson, 1805 Nicholas Zane Drive, Cedar Park, TX 78613. The deposit is refundable until March 1 when the final payment will be due and not refundable beyond that date. This trip is limited to 12 participants.
