What we’re about
We are a bunch of fun loving volleyball players. Come join us at Windmill Hill Park in Old Town to play sand volleyball. It is best that members are familiar with the basics of volleyball and can consistently serve (anyway you like, underhand, over, whatever gets it over the net), pass, and know there way around the court; where the positions are, what each position usually does, where to pass, who gets second touch, etc. Newcomers are welcome, especially if they are fun minded and open to coaching. Most of us have played awhile and are happy to help others learn. But don't be that guy that shows up and just makes it hard for everyone else to have fun. It's all about having fun. On the court and off. We usually have a BBQ or go out to Old Town after playing. We've done beach trips and other off court activities.
Many of our members take time out of their schedule and or travel to play on the limited days because those days are limited to 4x4 play of BB or above with a limit of 12 players. If you or your plus 1 are not BB or above please do not take up a spot on a limited play day. Do not show up on a limited play day if it is already full with 12 players. We do not play 5x5 or 6x6 on limited play days. We have open play days for those not BB or above and we can play 6x6 or however many up to 18 want to play on open days. We also do events like BBQ's on the open play days. I will adjust the schedule accordingly to add or subtract more open or limited days as requested.
