Emma - Wine Bar

Thanks to everyone who came to the last meeting. I think Ludlow Wines will merit a return at some point in the future, it was a fun little place, and the rooftop atmosphere at the Gaslight Bar & Grill is great cozy place to afterparty.

This month, I hope to meet everyone at Emma for a high tek automat wine experience...

#### EMMA creates an approachable wine experience... Unlike traditional wine bars, EMMA serves wine in a cutting-edge tasting room with self-service wine dispensers.

Rather than do a traditional wine tasting, Emma gives you a card. You can select one of a few dozen choices and you can have a 1/3/5 ounce pour of that wine. Each wine is priced differently, so if you want to try a small pour of different wines you can, or if you know what you prefer, you might choose a 5 ounce glass. They are staffed with a Sommelier who can explain to you whatever you need to know about their wines.

Parking: On Street parking for the most part, but in the East End Neighborhood its not tough to find a spot.

Afterparty
In August, it seemed like a fair number of people were happy enough to simply hang around the wine shop. Rather than direct everyone to a specific restaurant for an after-party/dining at a specific time..... I'll just say that the East End has a number of dining spots these days...and the Hi Mark is on the same corner as Emma, so we can wander over there if people want to. Or any ideas are welcome.
