What we’re about
Welcome to the Wine Lovers (and more!) of Central PA Meetup group! We are a group of wine enthusiasts in the greater Harrisburg area including Harrisburg, Hershey, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, York, and the general surrounding area. The aim of the group is to have group gatherings featuring wine, which may include group tastings, BYOB dinners, visits to local wineries, and educational opportunities to expand our horizons and increase our knowledge and appreciation of wine. The primary goal is FUN and if we learn some new things along the way, even better!
Please note that $5 annual dues are required for membership and must be paid during the initial 30-day grace period. Failure to meet this requirement will result in removal from the group and any events for which you are scheduled to attend. Dues may be paid via the Meetup app, PayPal, Venmo, or in person.
- We expect all members to show respect for the group and its members by honoring your RSVPs. We know that things do happen unexpectedly at times, but as a general rule we expect all members to give adequate notice if they find they are unable to attend an event that they have signed up to attend, especially if there is a wait list for the event. Membership may be revoked at the organizer's discretion.
- All members must have a profile picture of your head and shoulders that clearly shows your face (no sunglasses, etc.).
- This group is intended for social interactions. As such our members should not be contacted with inappropriate messages, attempts to sell them products, etc.
