Overview
We host a variety of events to bring people together, make new friends, explore the city, and try out new and interesting activities.
We do a little bit of everything: from meeting up for a casual night of drinks and conversation, checking out yearly Winnipeg events, seasonal activities, going to the beach, museums, archery, games, and so much more!

Group Rules
- Please be respectful to all other members and organizers.
- If you sign up for an event and you're unable to attend, please be sure to change your RSVP status so someone else can go. If you RSVP and no-show for 3 events in a row, you may be temporarily banned from the group.
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or any other bigoted comments of this nature will not be tolerated.
- This is not a dating group. While we understand that members may form more intimate connections with each other, the primary goal of this group is to create friendships and foster a positive social atmosphere for everyone. Unwelcome advances toward other members will not be tolerated.
- Unless explicitly stated, events are strictly 18+. This group is intended for people in their 20's and 30's, and while there is some flexibility for your plus ones - most events will not be suitable for minors.
- Some events may be hosted at places that serve alcohol. While we don’t mind attendees having a drink or two, excessive alcohol consumption or rowdy behavior will not be tolerated - especially if said behavior poses a danger to oneself or others.
Breaking any of the stated rules may result in either a temporary or permanent ban.
Our main goal is to create an atmosphere where all members feel included and welcome. Any behavior that impedes this goal will be dealt with privately, and on a case by case basis.

What is Friendsgiving?
Friendsgiving is similar to a traditional Thanksgiving, only you gather with friends instead of with family. It’s an opportunity to celebrate both old and new friendships without the formalities that are expected for traditional Thanksgiving dinners.

This is a local restaurant, and a table had to be booked for a specific number of guests in advance. Please be considerate of the time and effort of the restaurant staff as they have to do extra work to accommodate a group of our size.
Last-minute cancellations will be counted as no-shows for this event. According to our group’s attendance policy, multiple no-shows may result in a temporary ban from future events.

Join us for a laid-back evening of delicious food, craft beers, and great conversation at Nonsuch Brewing Co, a local gem known for its amazing food and award-winning craft beers. With a wide selection of hand-crafted brews, plus a variety of other refreshing drinks, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Come for the drinks, stay for the company! Nonsuch is a space where everyone is welcome to come together, connect, and hopefully share some special moments. It’s the perfect setting for making new friends, catching up with old ones, and enjoying a relaxed evening in a vibrant atmosphere!

Join us for a delightful afternoon at Pine Ridge Hollow, where you can savor delicious food and explore the natural beauty just outside Winnipeg! Nestled on the edge of Birds Hill Park, this charming destination offers a perfect escape from the city.
Their restaurant serves the best of prairie cuisine with farm-to-table dishes made from ingredients grown at their nearby farm. After lunch, we'll stroll the grounds, enjoy their picturesque little village, and take advantage of the fun photo opportunities sprinkled throughout the grounds.
This is the perfect opportunity to unwind, enjoy good food, and explore the unique offerings of Pine Ridge Hollow.

Location & Transportation
This is located outside of the range of the usual city transit, so we will do our best to arrange a carpool.
We plan to meet up at the Parlour Coffee in the Exchange District (468 Main St.), and we will leave as a group from there.
