Let’s Golf “Best Ball”: Nine, Wine & Dine
Details
Let’s get ready for a nice winter season of casual golf Nine-Wine-Dine best ball golf scrambles.
We will meet inside the pro shop and café area of the Sandhill Ccrane “The Nest Par 3” golf course. When you enter Sandhill Crane take the first left and follow that road around to the green building. You can park anywhere but drop off your golf clubs with the folks who help with the golf carts.
The cost is $49 per person for a teetime after 12:30. This Meetup event will require a minimum of three golfers. If we don’t have at least three, the event will be rescheduled for another week.
I will verify with the front desk a couple of days before and cancel our teetimes if we don’t have enough people. So please register and pay in advance by telephoneing the pro shop at Sandhill Crane at 561-630-1160. The reservation will be under Jeanette Nelson.
I will Reserve a teetime for 2:30 so please plan to arrive by 2 PM to mwwtup and get situated.
We will golf a friendly game of nine holes playing the best ball of the four of us. If there are more than four players, of course we will split into two teams with two tee times. I have never played this course, but started golfing last January taking clinics and then played in North Carolina weekly this summer so I am far from good. We’ll just have a fun time and get out there and a little exercise.
After we have played and returned our golf carts, we will drive over to meet at the Dancing Crane Restaurant where I will make reservations for us for a happy hour or dinner around 4:30. Feel free to add comments below. You will need to call and pay in advance for your golfing and golf cart. I found Craig to be helpful at the Pro Shop.
If there us enough interest we’ll make this a weekly event where everyone helps decide on a good day and time. We can also try other Golf courses as we are lucky to live in one of the Golf capitals in America.
Once again, please monitor your RSVP and be a wonderful winter woman as we enter another season of Florida life and active.
