Laurel Ridge offers a pleasant wooded hike with beautiful views of Lake Lanier. Reviews say it's not always well marked, and it's rated moderate for some occasional steep climbs.

This meetup event is weather-dependent. Event changes due to weather will be communicated in the event comments. All attendees are responsible for their own attire and bringing their own water. Footwear-wise, durable athletic shoes are encouraged, hiking boots optional for moderate hikes, no shoes without a back. Service is sometimes spotty depending on where we hike, so a host can provide their cell number to the attendees the day before a hike in case people need to reach us outside the app. Happy hiking!
