Let's create an active community to explore food, culture and urban walks. Most events may be during the week during business hours with some brunch, dinner and game events after normal business hours.
❌ CANCELATIONS: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 24-48 hours in advance if possible, to give others a chance to attend. If there's a waiting list, 'No Shows' from previous events and persistent late sign-offs may be given lower priority.
RSVP'S
Please be kind to Meetup's volunteer hosts by keeping one's R.S.V.P. updated and/or comment in the event's comment area if the Meetup platform will not allow one to edit one's R.S.V.P. No shows are subject to removal.
Meetup Inactive Member Purge After 12 months:
Meetup members who haven't attended an event or visited the Meetup site: Women 55+ Enjoying Greater Portland, for twelve months (12) or more, are subject to removal from this Meetup group yet are welcome to rejoin the group.
Declaration: Waiver, Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement for the Meetup group 'Retired Women - Portland Metro Area.'
- When attendee(s) and their guests RSVP for an event it indicates that attendees and their guests agree to the following terms:
- Attendee(s) and their guests understand that my execution of this Waiver, release and Indemnity Agreement ("Agreement") is a prerequisite for attending group activities sponsored by the Group.
- Attendee(s) and their guests further understand that there could be risks and dangers inherent in attending these activities.
- Attendee(s) and their guests understand that in order to partake in Group activities attendee(s) and their guests agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless this Group and its Group leaders, organizers, hosts and volunteers.
- Attendee(s) and their guests intend by this Agreement to release, in advance, and to waive attendees rights and discharge all of the persons mentioned above, from any and all claims for death, personal injury, or property damage which attendee(s) may have, or may hereafter accrue to me as a results of my participation in Group events, even though this liability may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective property, or equipment owned, maintained or controlled by them or because of their possible liability without fault.
- Attendee(s) and their guests intend and agree to financially indemnify and hold harmless the persons mentioned above from any actions brought against them by other parties on account of damages or injuries related to or caused by my participation in any of the 'Retired Women - Portland Metro Area' group events. Attendee(s) understand and agree that this Agreement is binding on me and any of my representatives.
- Attendee(s) and their guests have carefully read this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement and fully understand its contents. Attendee(s) are aware that this is a Release of Liability and a contract between its organizers and hosts, and attendee(s) and their guests and agree to these terms of my own free will.
- When attendee(s) and their guests RSVP for an event it indicates that attendee(s) and their guests agree to these terms.
