Are you an active, conservative leaning female, over 50 yrs old, looking to meet new female friends for fun social events and friendship? Our group isn't for discussing politics or religion, but rather to have fun events, and create new friendships with other like minded women.
Our events are geared towards active women who's average age is 50's through 60's. Most members in this group are married, who are retired or working part time or volunteering.
Most events will be during the weekday, afternoon hours. Dining events, are very popular with members of this group. Weather permitting we do outdoor activities such as wineries, live music.
I'm most proud of the many personal friendships women have formed from meeting at our groups events.
IMPORTANT GROUP INFORMATION:
Events will be held mainly on weekdays (M-F), between the hours of 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at locations mainly in Meridian, Eagle and occasionally Star or Boise areas. Mostly indoors during cooler weather, enjoying outdoors as weather allows.
PLEASE JOIN WAITLISTS: If there is a waitlist, don't give up, join the waitlist. I've been there myself and it's no fun! I will always do my best to work with venues to increase # of members attending.
IF YOU ARE ON A WAITLIST: You are responsible to show up to event if you automatically get moved from waitlist to "going". Sometimes this happens just prior to event. Please set your meetup notifications to receive alert for this group, to be notified if you have been moved from waitlist to going. Thank you!
CANCELING YOUR RSVP: If you rsvp to attend, or are on waitlist, and realize you are not able to attend the event, please cancel your reservation with a minimum or 24 hours prior to start of the event and/or remove yourself from waitlist. Thank you for being considerate.
HOW TO CANCEL YOUR RSVP or WAITLIST PRIOR TO 24 HOURS OF EVENT: On meetup app or logged onto meetup, edit your RSVP or Waitlist for event to "not going".
CANCELING RSVP ON DAY OF EVENT IF YOU ILL, NOT FEELING WELL OR EXPOSED TO SOMEONE ILL: PLEASE MESSAGE ME THROUGH MEETUP MESSAGE CHAT TO TELL ME SO. Thank you for being considerate!
ACCEPTANCE / REMOVAL FROM THIS PRIVATE GROUP: A member not having or maintaining any of the below maybe a cause for a member to not be accepted into group or be removed from group: Below list is a consensus of group members, who sum it up, be nice, have fun, be respectful and courteous.
1. Active female 50-60 age range.
2. Maintain a current, clear picture of your face, without sunglasses, so we know who to greet at an event.
3. Members who "NO Show" to an event, OR cancel an rsvp with less than 24 hour notice of start time of event, not related to illness or emergency, maybe removed from group.
Life happens! If you find you can't attend day of event for illness or another reason please message me, by clicking on organizer profile and "chat". I will understand and appreciate your thoughtfulness in messaging me (chat) asap prior to event start so I can contact venue and adjust reservation.
4. Please no "Soliciting of Members" for products, services, OR other events or meetups, or the "gathering or collecting contact information from members. Members will be removed from group.
5. Please do not show up at an event without a confirmed RSVP. Yes, this does happen!
