What we’re about
Women gone Wild is an intersectional women's hiking group based in the Bay Area.
For centuries black, brown, indigenous and other minority communities have used nature to heal and realign themselves. Longtime oppression and historical barriers have kept many people of color from feeling comfortable in the outdoors.. it’s time to change the narrative
I want this group to be a place where BIPOC women and allies can get to meet and support each other in their exploration of the outdoors and the healing and joy it can provide.
All hikes will be open to all ability levels

See all- Urban Hike through Golden Gate ParkFlywheel Coffee Roasters, San Francisco, CA
We will start off at my favorite coffee shop in the city and then walk through the park to explore the bison, the flowers and everything else the park has to offer
We will meet at 9:30am at Flywheel Coffee ( 672 Stanyan St, San Francisco, CA 94117 ) where we can pickup some coffee and donuts to fuel our adventure (Yes! they do have vegan treats as well). There is a ton of street parking in the area for those driving in.
The walk around the park is around 7.5 miles in total and is flat paved paths and rated easy. We will be taking a bunch of break along the way to check out the parks main points of interest
