Why This Group?
Being an entrepreneur is a beautiful adventure, but it can also feel long, difficult, and—let’s face it—lonely, especially for women. That’s why this group was created: to find allies, exchange ideas, support one another, and empower ourselves as business owners and as women. We believe in the power of sisterhood, collaboration, and the strength that comes from community.
Whether you’re a startup founder, freelancer, or small business owner, you are welcome here. All types of businesses are encouraged. Our goal is to connect women who are serious about their growth and ready to commit to their own journey and the success of their fellow group members.
What to Expect
We’ll meet once a week in Fremantle, often in a formal workspace like a library or coworking space, to keep the environment focused and productive. Occasionally, we may unwind in more informal settings like a café or by the beach for a change of scenery.
Our gatherings will vary between structured and open-ended sessions, including:
• Themed weeks, where we discuss specific topics to help us progress, such as branding, storytelling, or social media strategy.
• Talking circles, where we come together simply to share our challenges, celebrate wins and offer advice or support to each other.
• Coworking sessions, where we meet to work side by side, fostering motivation and accountability. Sometimes, just having someone there to share the space makes a big difference in productivity!
To stay organized, we’ll communicate through a shared WhatsApp group where we can vote on the week’s theme and discuss logistics. The cost of meeting spaces will be shared among us (approximately $30, split between members).
This group is about forging long-term bonds that uplift us in business and life. You don’t need to be an expert—just bring your enthusiasm, experience, and drive. What matters most is your mindset and commitment.
Group Size & Membership
To ensure everyone gets the support they need and the opportunity to be heard, this group will be limited to 8-10 members. If you’re ready to embark on this collaborative journey, apply by telling me about yourself, your business, and why you want to join. Please be sure you can dedicate 1-2 hours a week and are available to meet in Fremantle.
About Me
I’m Jessica, a 34-year-old French entrepreneur based in Perth. Two distinct passions drive my entrepreneurial journey. On one side, I’m deeply involved in innovative education, constantly exploring new ways to inspire and engage learners. On the other, I’m developing a communal cooking space aimed at connecting people through the power of food and community. Both of these projects reflect my core belief: that great ideas, when nurtured, can come to life and make an impact.
As a world traveller and lifelong learner, I thrive on creativity, connection, and collaboration. I’m passionate about turning ideas into action and creating spaces where people can grow and thrive together. I understand firsthand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship, and I can’t wait to build a community where we uplift each other as we bring our dreams to life!
