What we’re about
Welcome to my female friends who want to meet other women in midlife & beyond, enjoy a positive environment that fosters wellness, and focus on feeling good (whatever that looks like for you!). Respectfully, this is a women-only group.
I started this group to offer a chance to meet in person each month to chat about life, spark friendships, support one another, and have some fun, dammit!
GenX Connects and Morning Mingle events have short guided discussions around a wellness topic related to midlife & beyond (you know...sleep, empty-nesting, prioritizing our needs, peri/menopause, whole-life wellness, & more based on your feedback).
Other events support women-owned businesses and/or provide opportunities to create whole-life wellness (the Eight Dimensions of Wellness are: Social, Intellectual, Spiritual, Physical, Emotional, Environmental, Occupational, and Financial).
This group honors introverts and extroverts alike. Please join and attend to connect, share, and learn. Let's have fun and celebrate where we are in life!
Check out the discussion tab for weekly quotes by inspiring women (on Saturdays) and to engage with other members. I ask for feedback from the group in the discussions as well. Hope to see you there!
I send out emails on Wednesdays and every other Sunday. If you'd like to be on my email list, YOU CAN JOIN HERE.

Happy Trails - Get Outside To Feel Good!
In midlife and beyond, sometimes you want a built-in accountability partner or two to pull you out of your comfort zone. Other times, you just want a feel-good way to start your day. I’ve got you!
It’s scientifically proven that getting outdoors, into nature, provides a healthy boost to your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Happy Trails throws in a boost to your social wellness, too!
We’ll meet early on Friday mornings at the Piestewa Peak trailheads in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve (roughly 22nd St. & Lincoln Dr.). Of course, this isn’t just a hike - I HAVE to add my unique twist✨
Curious? Get on the Happy Trails email list at the link below to receive event notifications, updates, and reminders.

Let’s start with 5 minutes of quiet mindfulness as we get warmed up on the trail. Then we can chat on our way to our turnaround point.
We’ll snap a few photos (for those who want to be in them), enjoy the view from where we are, and then start our way back to the parking lot with another 5 minutes of quiet mindfulness.
There’s a large covered veranda at the Ocotillo parking lot (the parking lot furthest from the entrance) where I’ll lead a short stretching session for those who can stay. It’s a perfect way to wrap up our morning together and ensure our bodies get what they need to recover and stay healthy.
We hike a moderately difficul trail for about 1 hour 15 minutes. Then we stretch for 5-10 minutes to ensure our bodies stay flexible and feeling good.
The trails are rocky which means they can be slippery and it’s easy to twist an ankle if you aren’t paying attention. I HIGHLY recommend shoes designed for hiking that have good tread on them.
You MUST bring at least 1L (32 oz) of water with you. You may want a headlamp for our pre-sunrise starts. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are always smart.

Welcome to my female friends who want to meet other women in midlife & beyond, enjoy a positive environment that fosters wellness, and focus on feeling good (whatever that looks like for you!).
This event offers a chance to talk about life, support one another, share positive vibes, and have fun! It's two hours for Y O U ✨
We’ll gather around my backyard table to chat over morning beverages (non-alcoholic) and have a guided discussion (approximately 75 minutes) about a relevant topic. This month the topic is how to step into 2025 without the baggage of 2024!
A new year feels like a natural time for a fresh start. It CAN happen, but not without intention, thought, and effort.
Let's talk about what you want to leave behind and how you want to boost your whole-life wellness and happiness in 2025. What possibilities are unfolding for you?
