Women's Mentoring Network and Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County have joined forces to present:
Women Inspiring Women: A Speaker Series of Success!
This fun after-work series will feature successful women sharing their personal stories of accomplishment, light appetizers, a networking portion, and drinks! All at the beautiful Franklin Street Works Art Gallery.
The first speaker is State Representative Caroline Simmons, who represents the 144th District in Stamford, Connecticut, and serves as the House Chair of the Commerce Committee. Caroline graduated from Harvard, and worked for the Women’s Business Development Council in Stamford where she helped provide entrepreneurial, financial, and professional development training programs for women in CT. Previously, Caroline worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for four and a half years, and interned at the U.S. Department of State for the Middle East Partnership Initiative within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, where she assisted with economic empowerment programs in the Middle East.
A suggested donation of $25 is requested advance or at the door. All proceeds benefit Women's Mentoring Network and Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County.

The Strategic Life Skills Workshops are designed to empower and help participants with essential life skills to find better employment opportunities and fostering personal and professional growth.
Please join us Tuesday, December 3rd. The Women's Mentoring Network Strategic Life Skills Workshop will take place from 12-1:30pm. Guest speaker Daniella Kahane will speak about The Art of Negotiation. Daniella has been passionate about female empowerment since her very first documentary which explored the relevance of all-women colleges today. A graduate from Barnard College, Columbia University, and School of the Arts, Columbia University, Daniella is the recipient of the HBO Young Producer’s Award and was first runner-up for the prestigious Producers Guild of America Award.
The meeting will be held in person at Women's Mentoring Network, 141 Franklin Street, 2nd Floor Community Room, Stamford, CT, Tuesday, December 3rd from 12:00-1:30pm with an online option to join as well. In-person attendees get a $10 Stop & Shop Gift Card. Hope to see you there!
