Spring Campout Sloppy Floyd State Park

Details

Join us for a spring camping weekend! This park is a 561 acre park near Chattahooche National Forest. The park has two stocked lakes for fishing, 3 miles of lake loop trails, Marble Mine trail which has a waterfall, two lake trails and a trail connecting to the Pinhoiti. There are two boat ramps, kayak and SUP board rentals or BYO, and a fishing pier.
We will be in a private pioneer site close to the lake. It has running water and trash bins, but no electricity. It’s a very large site with room for any size tent.
There are 3 fire rings, 4 shelters and lots of picnic tables.
Firewood available at the camp store.
Bring your glamping stuff, lights, decorations, let’s make it festive!
Check in at 1pm Friday and check out 11 am Sunday.
You will have to get a $5 parking pass which is good for the whole weekend. No refunds unless event cancelled.
When you get to the park store, keep going straight, the lake will be on the left. The site is at the end of the road. You can pull the car in next to your camping spot.
The park has a lot of organized activities.
