What we’re about
**Women of Culture **is a NYC-based community designed to connect and inspire women via meaningful engagement with the arts and creative self-expression. Through carefully curated cultural experiences, trips and workshops, we encourage women to push their boundaries, discover new perspectives and connect more deeply with themselves and those around them.
We believe that, when women come together and collectively tap into their innate creativity, confidence, and one-ness, they have the power to heal the world — from the inside, out.

See all- Step Afrika! + post-show dinner (ART-FULL MEMBERS)Alice Tully Hall, New York, NY
On Friday September 20th, Art-full members are invited to enjoy an upbeat and lively evening of step dance brought to you by Step Afrika!, followed by a post-show dinner.
Advance ticket purchase required here
Hailed as one of the top 10 African American Dance Companies in the US, Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience.
As those who may have seen them perform at Fall for Dance in 2021 will remember, their performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding.
Since it’s an early and relatively short 75 min. show, we’ll gather for drinks/food/dessert after the show to discuss our impressions and share our favorite moments at the Ribbon (approx. 10 min walk from Alice Tully Hall).
All tickets include a seat with the group for the performance. Full experience tickets also include 1 alcoholic beverage OR appetizer or dessert at the restaurant. All other food/drink needs to be paid separately on-site at the restaurant.

- A Broadway Fairy Tale ftg. Sutton Foster + STK BrunchHudson Theater, New York, NY
Join us on Sunday September 22nd to experience the magic of Once Upon a Mattress on Broadway, plus brunch at STK NYC Midtown before the show.
Advanced ticket purchase required here
Once Upon a Mattress, the iconic musical comedy, is back on Broadway for the first time since 1996. Two-time Tony® winner Sutton Foster gives what The New York Times calls an “ebullient, joyful, perfectly goofy” performance as Princess Winnifred the Woebegone.
Direct from its record-breaking New York City Center Encores! run and newly adapted by Amy Sherman-Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), this New York Times Critic’s Pick introduces the unapologetically eccentric Winnifred to a repressed kingdom, where she charms, delights, and dances her way to the top… of a stack of mattresses.
Please note:
- All tickets purchased on our website include a seat with the group in the front balcony.
- Full experience tickets also include 1 brunch entree, 1 non-alcoholic beverage + tax/tip (all additional food/drink to be paid and ordered separately, on-site).

- Fall for Dance: Choose Your Own [Dance] Adventure | Program 3New York city Center, New York, NY
This September, the Fall for Dance Festival returns to NY City Center for its 21st season of bringing the best in dance from all over the world, and we'll be there to see not one, but three of this year's programs!
Advanced ticket purchase required here
This year's lineup is too good to limit ourselves to seeing just one program as in the past, so this is the first year that you have the chance to choose your own [dance] adventure by joining a small group of fellow dance lovers on either September 18th, 25th and/or 29th!
We have just four tickets available on each of these dates, so this will be a great opportunity to pick the date(s)/time(s) that work best with your schedule and connect with a smaller group of members over dinner or drinks (or a free dance class!) before the show.
Each program features a diverse mix of genre-defying dance and the opportunity to see three unique dance companies, choreographers and dancers all in one performance!
PROGRAM 3 on Wednesday September 25 at 7:30pm is a night of premieres - featuring a tap tribute to Nina Simone, a world premier by Skylar Brandt of the American Ballet Theater, a US premier by and a NY premier all in one night!
Please note:
- All orders here include a seat with the group in the front Mezzanine.
- While no formal group dinner will be planned, you will be connected to your fellow attendees in 2-3 days in advance in case you would like to arrange plans to meet before the show amongst your group, as well as some recommended places to try nearby.
- More details on picking up the tickets for that evening will also be included in the pre-event email, so be sure to save [email protected] to your contacts!
