Let’s learn and laugh together while we renew a piece of your own furniture in a hands-on workshop using Dixie Belle paints.* You will bring your own furniture piece and leave with a transformed piece and the confidence to do it again after the session.

In these sessions you will discover the the steps to working with chalk mineral paint...PREP, PAINT & PERSONALIZE on your own piece of furniture (maximum 1x1x1 meter). If you do not have a piece of your own to bring, we will have some pieces available in the studio for purchase at a small price before the workshop begins (please announce at registration if you will not BYOP and prefer to shop ours). Keep in mind, in the workshops there is not enough time to reupholster, strip or make major repairs.

Supplies needed to complete the project will be provided at the studio.
Between coats of paint and/or upon finishing you are invited to enjoy a small apéro and/or coffee.

Registration closes 3 days in advance of workshop in order to prepare materials and arrange staffing. Please contact us if you have a special scheduling request.

Is there an age limit?
Minimum age is 18 yrs. unless the session is specified as a children’s workshop.

What if I can't attend after registering?
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. No refunds given when cancelling less than 48 hours before session start, however amount paid can be credited towards a future event.

What if Trouvé by Stacey cancels?
We reserve the right to cancel a session at any time. Paid participants will be fully refunded.

What do I wear?
Consider wearing comfortable clothing and something you may not mind getting paint or sawdust on - just in case... accidents can happen when having fun.

What do I bring?
You will bring in any small wood item: a couple of picture frames, a shelf, a chair/stool, maybe even a small side table – nothing bigger than 1 meter tall/wide (A good rule of thumb: if you can carry it by yourself, you can bring it!) Also, think about transporting your new treasure home safely. Perhaps bring a blanket or towels for transport, and of course, your good mood and imagination. We’ll take care of the rest.

Please send us a quick photo in advance of your piece. This way we can anticipate if your item happens to need a little prep work with a primer, etc. before you begin. Does it have a super glossy finish? Is a mahogany or wood that is prone to bleed through if you are going to paint it white? Send that photo to [email protected]
2. Color please!
Have in mind a color range that interests you for your project. As there are many Dixie Belle colors to choose from, it’ll be easier if you’ve already narrowed down to “blue”, “green”, “white”, etc. so that we can have some options set aside for you to choose from.

How do I get there?
By car, there’s plenty of free parking at the location.
By public transport, train + bus/walk will get you there.
There will be signs posted at the building to show you the way inside.
