The Denver Christkindlmarket is an authentic, German-style holiday market, which is host to local and European craft and food vendors, and tons of magical entertainment for everyone to enjoy. The Denver Christkindlmarket is a must-see (and must-taste!) holiday experience. Free and open to the public.
German-style holiday market, has become a beloved tradition for many in the Mile High City, and it’s back with new features for 2024.
Designed by the German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado Chapter, the Christkindlmarket turns Denver’s Civic Center Park into a European village square with over 40 local and European craft and food vendors, along with live music, dancing and other entertainment.
The event earned the 2024 Downtown Denver Award, recognizing its “significant contribution of the Holidays in the Civic Center to downtown Denver’s diversity, vibrancy, and uniqueness,” according to a release from the Colorado Chapter. Read more...

The 9NEWS Parade of Lights will make a circuit through the heart of downtown beginning, featuring more than 40 units, including extravagantly illuminated floats, giant helium-filled character balloons, magnificent marching bands, traditional equestrian units and vibrant cultural displays. The Parade follows very close to the German Festival, so you get 2-for-1!!

Meet at 5 PM, go shopping, take pics, watch the Parade, enjoy the entertainment and food and leave whenever you like!! Exact location for meeting will be added. Note: it tends to get chilly so dress warm, bring bottled water and use public transport to avoid parking hassles.
