What we’re about
Our motto is "All Ships Are Interesting". We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Millers Bakery Museum on the corner of Baal and Elvira Streets in Palmyra. We produce a bi-monthly newsletter and meet once a month to discuss shipping in and out of Fremantle and Kwinana. We are also interested in world-wide shipping - be it container ships, cruise ships, war ships and anything in between. Many of our members are past serving merchant mariners and have many stories to tell. If you are interested in learning more about ships - this is the place for you. We are the Fremantle branch of a world-wide society which has been operating since 1981 and membership entitles you to visit other branches as a guest.
