The World Languages Cafe is a place to speak a language you know or one you are learning, converse in a friendly atmosphere, meet new people who enjoy learning about other cultures, increase your fluency by speaking and listening, pick up useful phrases to use when traveling and recall your childhood language.

Join the Zoom call and we'll do our best to set up language rooms for the languages of the people who show up. Language tables are normally hosted by a native speaker or equivalent.

Languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese - Mandarin, Chinese - Cantonese, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Farsi, French, German, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Hindi, Irish Gaelic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili and Turkish. But other languages can be hosted upon request. All we need is a fluent language host and people who want to practice.

Our rules:

  1. Camera is on
  2. Add your languages on your zoom name temporarily
