Meeting at Worthing rail station at 10.00 hours catch the train to Brighton and then change trains to Lewes. I'm using the South east sussex Campaign for Real Ale Lewes Pub Trail which features 8 pubs all within walking distance from the beautiful Lewes railway station. The Lansdowne Arms is pub number 1 on the trail and the Royal Oak is pub number 8 on the way back to the station. Half time on the trail is a welcome lunch at Bills which I'll book subject to numbers closer to the time.
