What we’re about
- Hello, Welcome to “Write on Adeline,”! We are a group of older adults that enjoy getting together to explore poetry. We would like to expand our small group by having weekly gatherings in a public setting. Please join us and collaborate in (1) reading original poetry, (2) reading well known or unusual poems as models, (3) exploring techniques for writing poems. I am the facilitator for the group and encourage members to share lessons and strategies. All ages are welcome to join.
The owners of The Vault Cafe at 3250 Adeline Street in South Berkeley are allowing us to use reserved tables during our time there. We ask that if you would like to order food or beverages, that you arrive by 1:30p.m. to do so. The poetry workshop will start at 2:00p.m. and end at 3:00p.m.
There is not a fee for the group but you are responsible for any food or beverages that you order. Please R.S.V.P. so I can have a clear number for seating.
