The Munich Collective is a rentable studio with a common goal amongst the participants, to build a community and network!

A mum-to-be can experience new aspects of herself, both physically and mentally, prenatal yoga offers the opportunity to strengthen body awareness and positively deal with the changing circumstances. This 60 min class provides a safe and supportive environment in which yoga postures are modified for the changing needs of the future mama. Focus is on developing strength, flexibility and proper breathing in preparation for birth and motherhood.

Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, each pose is held for 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga is meant to challenge you physically and mentally, you will feel discomfort in some postures but this discomfort is meant to be healing. The healing process happens after the practice, when the tissue is repairing itself. The mental challenge comes from learning how to breath through your discomfort and to accept the sensation into the body. We’re not asking you to endure pain, but to realize the difference between pain and discomfort because there’s a BIG DIFFERENCE. Just as you work Yin tissues and feel “the burn” in your muscles you will learn to feel the right sensation to let you know you’re working your connective tissues. The practice will lengthen connective tissue, increase flexibility, boost circulation and decrease stress.

This is a total body yoga practice with focus on form and breath. I carefully plan out sequences to build you to a peak in your practice and then gradually guide you back down and eventually into your savasana. There will be peaks of intensity followed by refreshing and nourishing releases. Come flow with me. This is an all access class that can accomodate beginners but also challenge the experienced yogi.
