Yoga Nidra (Guided Deep Relaxation)
Details
Yoga Nidra is a timeless practice of deep, guided relaxation. In this class, we will do some gentle exercises to relax the body, and then we will lie down for an extended relaxation. We will begin and end the class with some simple meditation. This class meets monthly, usually the first Sunday of the month, and is open to adults and teens.
RSVP is required: through MeetUp or by phone, text, or email.
BRING a mat; a thick towel/blanket/rug to cushion the floor; and an extra blanket if you like to cover yourself during the relaxation.
WEAR comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Wear layers when it's cold so that you can adjust your clothing as needed. Please refrain from wearing perfume and other fragrances.
COST: No charge. Donations are gratefully accepted!

NOTE: We do not require masks. We believe it is important to be able to breathe freely while practicing relaxation and meditation. If you are not comfortable with this, we have audio classes you can practice with (just ask).
