What we’re about
If you've never been to a Yoga class, or you love Yoga, AND you love to discuss and explore the why, we do what we do, think what we think sort of topics of conversation - this group is for you. Here in the west, we tend to think of Yoga as practicing the exercise, and the postures of Yoga more than looking into the deeper intention of what Yoga was really about. And It's truly not just about flexibility and the postures or physical strength. The postures are a wonderful experience to help us reconnect to the body and unite the body, mind and spirit. But how do you take that to another level? Well, it's not entirely by correcting your alignment in a handstand or warrior III, though this is an acceptable method if you know how to take it deeper. But what if you need more, want to explore more or have questions you'd like to discuss with people of the same mindset? The intention of this group is contemplation of the deeper meaning of Yoga and how to live Yoga philosophy off the mat. We will incorporate discussions of the 8 Limbs of Yoga by Patanjali, the Kleshas, Yoga Mythology and much more to share with each-other our life experiences and support each other on our journey, thus far.
We'll meet for a workshop or a discussion around once per month and hopefully, build a community to help each other grow emotionally and spiritually.

These weekly in-person Yoga classes incorporate mindfulness with the breath and movement to help you reconnect to your inner awareness and peace. Often we treat these parts of us as separate components, but if you look closely and truly tune in you'll see that there's so much overlap, it's difficult to see where one begins and one ends. It's getting to know yourself in a whole new way.
