Weekly Game Night at Blue Note

Wednesday means it's time for board games at Blue Note Brewery in Woodland! We'll have a couple tables reserved off to the side; just look for the people playing board games.

We'll also have many more games on hand, both longer games and filler games, so don't worry if nothing on the schedule sounds super-exciting. You're welcome to bring games, too!

If you'd like to join in on one of the scheduled games, please post here and make sure there will be space for you. Then, if you can, try to learn a little bit about the game ahead of time.

If you have an hour and feel like it, search for the game's rulebook and give it a read-through. If you have a half-hour, go to YouTube and look for a how-to-play video. (Watch It Played is a great channel for that.) If you have one minute, go to YouTube and see if Board Games in a Minute has done a video about the game.

People usually start arriving around 5pm, and games start whenever people are ready. Blue Note closes at 9pm. We have a 5-10 minute grace period there, but you should be in the process of final scoring by 9, or else pack it up and play again another day.

You're not required to buy beer in order to join us, but we do encourage you to support Woodland's local businesses. If not Blue Note itself, then check out the weekly food truck, or other downtown restaurants and businesses.
