Connection Peer Support Group for those 18+ who live with a mental illness

The Connection Support Group is a peer-led support group for adults diagnosed with a mental illness. It’s a safe place where people learn from each others’ experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding.

• Weekly Thursday at 6:30 PM on ZOOM
• EXCEPTION: 4th Thursday of every month this meeting is at 1:00 PM on ZOOM or
• IN-PERSON at THE HUT, 415 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill SC 29730 at 6:30 PM

NAMI’s Peer support groups provide a confidential and safe space for families, caregivers, and individuals affected by mental illness, to be heard and to receive the support they deserve.

• Zoom Meetings usually last either an hour or an hour and a half
• All meetings require a PASSWORD and registration, see each group for access information
• FREE to participants, no membership required
• Meets weekly or monthly depending on the group
• No specific medical therapy or medication is endorsed or recommended
• Meetings led by individuals who have experienced mental illness themselves or through a loved one.
