What we’re about
The "York Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses Meetup" Group is for ex-Jehovah's Witnesses in the north of Yorkshire. This group has socials in North Yorkshire, mostly in York & Hull. We are independent from, but work closely with "XJW Friends" which are based in London and the Midlands (wwwmeetup.com/xjwfriends & www.meetup.con/xjwfriendsmidlands). There are also two other non-affiliated ex-JW meetup groups in Manchester and Edinburgh.
Merice founded and co-runs a secret “UK-XJWz Friendship & Support Group” on Facebook. Please ask the her, or the other admins if you’d like to join.
It is a faith-neutral group made up of people who have left the religion recently or many years ago.
Our main rule is: no preaching, whether about religion or lack of religion.
