YRPL League Qualifying Event
Each Tournament is also a standalone event with all entries 100% paid out to the nightly prize pool.
Open to anyone aged 19 and over. Limited to the first 60 entries plus alternates, seats are only reserved until 6:55 pm. After that time we may start seating from the waiting list and your seat is no longer guaranteed. Late registration is available for the first two hours of play.
Note: Anyone that registers and does not show up, could be barred from pre-registering to future games and may be removed from future events that they have registered for.
At each tournament, points are earned (see below) and a cumulative League Standings table will be posted on our Facebook page the weekend after. At the end of the Season, qualifications will be as follows:
Top 10 in points - 2024/2025 Championship Game

Both games to be held on May 9th, 2025 (dates subject to change).
Notes:
- 6 wild cards will also be invited to the Best of the Rest by the YRPL (with zero criteria and totally at our own discretion). Wild cards will have a slightly reduced stack.
- In the event that someone in the Top 10, can not make the Championship, that game will play short handed. There will be no replacement and they will automatically be placed in 10th place. Chips will not be in play.
- In the event that someone finishing 11-40 can not make the BOTR, the next position will be automatically be invited (at the slightly reduced stack).
League Tournament details:
- Start time is 7:00pm sharp. Registration opens at 6:20pm - please be on time.
- Entry $100 for 15,000 in tournament chips. This includes a $5 charity donation and $20 towards costs to help continue running these games.
- Re-Entry: $100 for a 15K stack, limited to one per player during the first 2 hours of play. You must be completely out of chips in order to re-enter. You may be given a different seat based on availability. A player making a re-entry takes priority over late and alternate players. A player that has busted out must re-enter prior to play resuming after the first break. $50 from all re-entry funds are withheld to fund the 2024/2025 Championship, Best of the Rest & TOC Events. $30 goes into the nightly pot, $10 goes towards costs and $10 goes towards a high hand pot.
Surrender Option: At the end of the first six levels of play (2 hours) and before play resumes after the break, any player that has not re-entered previously may opt to surrender their stack in order to re-enter and start with a new 15K chip stack.
Prize Pool:
Based on 60 players, the final 10 players will be paid out.
Nightly High Hand: $10 from each re-entry goes towards a nightly High Hand Pot. To qualify for the high hand you must use both dealt down cards to create your hand. The High Hand does not need to go to showdown as long as it is revealed. The high hand must be verified by the players at your table and/or the Tournament Director. Multiple players with the same high hand will split the pot. Minimum qualification for high hand is Quad 2s (2222x). In the event that the qualifier does not get met in any game, the high hand money will be rolled into the next league game.
Bounty/Knockouts: No cash value but worth 100 points towards league standings.
Blind Levels and structure: The blinds increase every 20/15 minutes and are designed to end the tournament within 8 hours. Structure is subject to change at any time even during a tournament.
