What we’re about

What we're about

This group has the purpose of introducing you to simple, proven techniques you can use to change your life for the better and become happier and more able. We have guest speakers from the Tampa area at our meetings who are successful in life, and apply these techniques in life themselves. They will share their own experiences with you, and you will discover the exact mechanism in the mind that holds you back and keeps you from accomplishing the goals you set for yourself.
You will leave the meeting knowing that Self-betterment is possible, and that "something can be done about it."

For instance:

  • Have you ever gotten angry and not known why?
  • Have you hurt a loved one?
  • Do you introvert and become shy for no reason?
  • Are you anxious?
  • Do you want to be more successful or find the perfect relationship?
  • Do you want to improve communication?
  • How is your ability to love?

Happiness is an age-old quest. It can appear elusive, but it is actually quite real and attainable. Happiness is basically the overcoming of obstacles toward a known goal. There are very workable methods that you can grasp and use.

Our events will assist you with:

  • Effects of past painful experiences
  • Setting goals in life
  • Understanding other people
  • Controlling yours and others' emotions
  • Finding ways to like people and life more
  • Creating better relationships and choosing the right friends or partners

The point is, there are things you can learn to increase your happiness, self-confidence, and overall well-being. This group will teach these tools.

We teach natural, common-sense techniques and information to improve life.  All are welcome.

Make a life changing decision and join this group now.

The organizer of this group is a volunteer of the Dianetics and Scientology life improvement Center of Tampa.

Meetup members and organizers need to be at least 18 years old. While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult. You can learn more about our age policies in our community guidelines.
