**Why are we carpooling so early?**
RMNP is very popular in winter, and now that there is no timed entry, the earlier we get there, the more likely we will have space for everyone to park. While there is overflow parking, it is very limited and requires a hike in and of itself to reach our trailhead.

**Itinerary:**

* Arriving at carpool at **5:30 am**
* Leaving carpool at **5:45 am**
* Arriving at trailhead at **7:30 am**
* Start hiking at **7:30 am**
* Complete hike at **10:30 am**

**Elevation:** 1085 feet
**Time to Complete:** 3 hours

**Carpooling:**
We will be carpooling at the **Westminster Park n Ride ([here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/bNxMng3RpTXna6S66))**. We will be meeting at the carpool at **5:30 am** and leaving for the trailhead at **5:45 am**. If you are running late, leave a message on the event or text the organizer. It is at the organizer's discretion to wait for you or not. Communicate if you are going to be meeting the group at the trailhead. For those carpooling, please support your driver with some cash or a Venmo.
