Hike At Wissahickon Valley Park

Heads Up: use the Google coordinates below for directions. I added an address in the location section of the meetup event because it’s a requirement, but it usually doesn’t lead you to the right place. I added the address that’s listed on Apple Maps as well, but more often than not I have found the Google coordinates to be the most reliable.

Wissahickon Creek Loop Yellow Trail

Let’s head out to the trails and hike the Yellow Trail at Wissahickon Valley Park. This hike is around 5.9 miles with an elevation gain of 613 feet. All Trails says the hike takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete.

The weather should be nice so I don’t anticipate having to reschedule, but if there’s any updates I will let everyone know. If you’d like to bring your dog on the hike, I believe the trail is dog friendly as long as they are kept on leash.

After the hike I found a brewery close by that we can all go to if anyone’s interested. It’s called The Workhorse Brewing Company. Let me know what you guys think. If we prefer something else, I am open to any other recommendations.
