We enjoyed visits last year so much, with food afterward. Let's plan more, including to biking at Flatwoods Trail, and other locations suggested below!

Flatwoods Park is 18 thousand acres, the largest park in Hillsborough County. Flatwoods Trail is basically a popular loop, through natural area. Last year, we saw an armadillo right in front of us, and thanks to Rachel's alertness, we saw a deer feeding! Even on my last visit, by myself, at least two deer leapt out of the woods right behind the park ranger's home, to walk and feed along the trail, in twilight.

We're meeting early on purpose, for shade and to beat some of the heat! We'll gather in the parking lot. Park entry by car is $2. Then after we're done, let's go enjoy some great food in a casual setting -- see separate meetup post (to be created - your input is welcome), to invite non-bikers to join us there.

This is something I'd like to do even without a crowd. Would you be interested more biking, hiking, kayaking, boating, day trips (or longer), camping (when it gets cooler), or space travel? Please comment or let me know.

In addition to biking Flatwoods, I'm still interested in Bayshore Blvd (well-known waterfront in S. Tampa), part of the Pinellas Trail, Alafia nature park, and open to ideas.
