Creating Beauty with Dichroic Glass

Discover the secrets of working with Dichroic glass and create stunning jewelry pieces. Dichroic glass is a non-translucent glass that is produced by stacking layers of glass and micro-layers of metals & oxides, creating a shifting of colors & iridescent light play.
In this class you will learn the basics of glass cutting and design from our YVGMS members, Liz, Anne and Naomi.
Your items will be fired in the kiln, and you can come back after 4 hours to pick up your completed pieces or another time during shop hours can be arranged. Students can fill a 4”x4” plate with pieces to fire.
This course is recommended for beginners. No experience required. All tools will be provided.

Tuesday November 26th from 5 – 9 PM
Or
Sunday December 15th from 10 – 2 PM
Cost is $65 for members and $80 for non-members. Cost of glass will vary depending on your choices, but expect $20 - $50.
Membership for half the year is $20 for individuals, $25 for families
