We will be meeting at the location specified, drop our heavy stuff (towel etc) by the lake side and do intensive burpees/high jumps until we are warm before the swim.
When we are warm, we will plunge into the water (or better, slowly walk in...). As the water is getting colder, we will not be too long or swim too far in the water and you are free to get out at any time.
After the swim we can go to a cafe in the area (open for suggestions of other cafes) and warm up with a cosy cup of coffee/tea and breakfast.
Things to bring
Lots and lots of warm layers, hat and gloves for after the swim, that are easy to put on (it will be much colder than before the swim, especially if there's wind), Dry robe for changing if you have one.
A warm drink in thermal flask
Towel
Dry bag/Tow float if you have one
swimming equipment depends on your experience and cold resistance, warm swim gloves, socks and vests are recommended
