京都洋書読書会Meetup--Kyoto English Book Club Meetup

１．洋書名：The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
２．各自で読了する。ただし、ある程度(3分の１程度)読めていれば可。
３．日時：１月 5日（日）１４時から
４．会場： Cafe Veloce 4条烏丸蛸薬師
5．話し合う内容：印象に残った個所、わかりづらかった個所、疑問に思っ
た箇所、作品に対する各自の評価、今後の予想される展開など。話し合
いに使う言語はできる範囲に置いて英語とする。
6. 申し込みと同時に下記まで参加のメール送信する。メールの内容は「参加します。」等の短いメールで構いません。[email protected]

～English Translation～
1. We'll discuss "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig.
2. Participants are asked to have either read the whole book or at least
one third of it before the the meetup.
3. We'll meet on Jan 5th, 2025. The meetup is to start at 14:00 jst.
4. The venue will be at a place called "Cafe Veloce" located at Shijo
Karasuma Takoyakushi. Close to the Subway Station Shijo.
5. What to discuss: your impression on the story, what part was difficult for you to understand, how you liked the story so far, what you think will happen next in the story and so on. Our discussion, perhaps, will not be entirely conducted in English. However, participants will be asked to use as much English as possible.
