Mirovolunteering: Electric Beach Clean Up

Details

Let’s clean up a west-side beach - keeping trash out of the ocean is important for sea life, our planet and us!

Have you ever been to Electric Beach? Please consider joining me at this event, where we'll meet new people, help make the beach better than we found it, and enjoy the sunset as a reward! The cleanup will be for an hour, but of course, stay as long as you want. This is part of an organized group called, "3rd Sunday Beach Cleanup"

Since 2018, the team has been organizing beach clean-ups and connecting over 300 volunteers to the environment. This year 3rd Sunday Beach Cleanup will be hosting quarterly events, alternating from evenings & mornings.

They bring gloves, buckets and other tools, but if you can, please bring your own water, gloves and a garbage bag.

Please wear shoes (there's glass and kiawe - thorns) and bring water.

Meet in the parking lot, and look for the group with all the buckets!

If you're driving, park in the lot. If you're taking the bus, #40 has a stop, right across the street from the parking lot.

we'll see you at the beach.

🅿️
Parking is tight in the morning, due to scuba divers & snorkeling; so consider car-pooling.
