Mediterranean cuisine - culinary dinner at Ka’ikena Laua’e at KCC

I feel very lucky to have gotten reservations for 6 on 12/3 at 5:30pm (very limited reservations) and wanted to share the experience with some of you.

The OHELO Building is being renovated so they relocated the dining experience to the 220 Grille space located on the 2nd floor of OHIA building.

Ka`Ikena Laua`e is a learning laboratory operated by Culinary students under the direction of Chef Instructors.

Ka Ikena is a culinary school restaurant located at Kapiolani Community College offering a 3 course dinning experience for the price of one entree ($42-$53 depending on entree / drink choice). Reviews state that it’s a great place to have a wonderful dinner without breaking the bank on the island. With their limited hours and seating times, this opportunity only comes around a couple times a year.

Because the restaurant doesn’t sell alcohol, it is permitted to bring either beer or wine. Unfortunately, no mixed drinks are allowed.

Parking
Park on campus and we will meet in front of the restaurant at 5:15PM. Please be on time, and allow travel time for traffic.
The Bus has many stops to the campus as well.
Dress is business casual.
