What we’re about
We are an affiliate of the American Humanist Association. We are here to be a beacon of reason for those that consider themselves secular, atheist, agnostic, humanist, and/or a free thinker. If you are searching for a place to ask questions, you have found it. If you are searching for an inclusive group that is here to listen and not to judge, you have found it. We stand on the side of equality, not division. The side of science, not pseudoscience. You do not have to agree with everything everyone says, but we do expect kindness, compassion, and civility from all that participate in our events.
Please join us. We would love to meet you!
**Not sure whether or not you're a Humanist? "Humanism is a nontheistic worldview with ethical values informed by scientific knowledge and driven by a desire to meet the needs of people in the here and now. At the foundation of those values is an affirmation of the dignity of every human being." - The American Humanist Association

See all- Post Holiday Dinner Out @ Nine IrishNine Irish Brothers, West Lafayette, West Lafayette, IN
Assuming we have all survived the holiday season without any violence aimed at others during family gatherings, let's celebrate the end of a very unique year at Nine Irish (on the West Side!)!
I've requested the back room for a bit of privacy, but we are limited to 14 or fewer in order to have access to the full menu! That being said, if you've RSVPd yes and aren't able to come, please update your response to a no to allow someone else to take that seat!
RSVPs will close Jan 2nd so I can call Nine Irish and let them know how many will be in attendance!
This (as with all restaurant events!) will be a cover your own costs kind of event! If you're not able to swing that after the holiday season has emptied your wallet, I sincerely apologize and hope you're able to make it to others soon!
